Good news for NHK’s popular female announcers.

According to Sankei Sports (March 31), NHK announcer Asahi Inoue (40) is pregnant with her first child. Inoue married a man in the fall of 2007. She is already in the stable period.

Inoue initially wanted to become an elementary school teacher, and when she was a student at Ochanomizu University, she was a member of the koto music club, where she played the shakuhachi (bamboo flute) and shamisen (three-stringed Japanese instrument). She is rather introverted and was unable to tell people around her that she had a dream of becoming an announcer when she was a student.

After joining NHK in April 2004, she worked at broadcasting stations in Tottori and Hiroshima. The turning point for her came in April 2011 when she was selected to anchor the flagship program “News Watch 9. Her popularity quickly grew due to her stable announcing skills and soft-spoken manner. The way she was teased by the main anchor, Kensuke Ohgoshi (now freelance), also contributed to her increased popularity. She has become a nationally known announcer.

When the decision was made to transfer to the Kyoto Broadcasting Station in 2003, “Asahi Loss” became widespread among viewers

Inoue left “News Watch 9” in March 2003. When the decision was made to transfer to the Kyoto Broadcasting Station, the Internet was flooded with comments lamenting “Asahi Loss.

It was not until April 2005 that she returned to the Tokyo announcing office. At a press conference held just prior to the event by NHK’s new caster for the new fiscal year, it was revealed that she would become the caster of “News 7” (Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays). With a smile on her face, Inoue said, “I’m very happy to be back in the Tokyo Announcer’s Office.

I believe that many people watch TV with their families on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. I would like to deliver information to everyone, chewing between the lines of the news so that they can understand what kind of day it was.

News 7″ will graduate in March 2007.

After that, he took charge of programs such as “News Today” and “Sound Scenery. However, perhaps because she found out that she was pregnant, she left “Sunday Discussion,” for which she had been the anchor, during March of this year. The BS Premium “Humanity,” in which she appears with actor Yuji Oda, was broadcast for the last time on March 31.

Inoue Anna is likely to save her work for a while. We hope she will safely give birth to a healthy child and show us her charming smile again.
