Yu-chami shows off her glamorous yukata in Miyakojima! Hustle at an Izakaya!
Talented actress Yu-chami released her 2nd photo book "Chami Summer" on September 4 (Wed.)! Here are some scenes from her trip to Miyakojima Island, which she visited for the first time!
On September 4, 2012 (Wed.), TV personality Yu-chami will release her second photo book “Chami Summer” (Kodansha).
In this series, we will report behind-the-scenes of the photo shoot on Miyakojima Island, the setting of the book.
A pub with a specialty of “live music
On the second night of her stay. Yu-chami, wearing a yukata (light cotton kimono), visited a certain place. It was a tavern called “Goya,” which was crowded with locals and tourists.

I want to see a live sanshin (Okinawan traditional three-stringed instrument) performance!
At this restaurant, a live sanshin performance is held every night from 19:00. The live sanshin performance is said to be so exciting that all the customers in the restaurant stand up in unison to the melodies of Okinawan folk songs and hit songs.
Stepping into the packed restaurant, Yuuchami’s height and yukata outfit caught my attention,

Yu-chami attracted a lot of attention. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made her face smile.
Soon after, the long-awaited live sanshin performance began. While listening to Okinawan folk songs, an announcement was made to “stand up” in the restaurant. Everyone in the restaurant danced to the folk songs!
The dance was like a circle mosh as many people formed a circle and danced in a circle around the store.
Yu-chami enjoyed dancing and exchanging words with the many customers who were in the store. It was an unforgettable night on Miyako Island, her first visit to the island.
