The smiling bikini beauty is Mari Takahashi, a former freelance announcer who made headlines this past February when her candidacy for the National Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) in the Tokyo 15 ward by-election for the House of Representatives was canceled.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> Takahashi, who was a finalist for the Miss Keio pageant, joined Sprout, the university student division of the entertainment agency St. Force, in 2006. After graduation, she also worked for Accenture, a foreign-affiliated consulting firm.</span></p>
