A bear cub that died in the mountains. Despite its small size, the claws on its fingertips are as sharp and terrifying as those of an adult bear.
When we heated the bear’s meat over an open fire, the fat poured out with a sizzling sound.
When we opened the mouth of a female brown bear we had killed, its magnificent fangs peeked out. If a human were to be bitten, it would be a mortal wound.
The young hunters worked together to carry the brown bear to the car. Even with the help of two adults, it was hard work, and they were out of breath.
