Ryoko Hirosue and Etsushi Toyokawa in a Retro One-Piece
FRIDAY Eyewitness! Harikomi24 <Abiko, 12:05
One day in May, Ryoko Hirosue (41), who has published her first book of essays and whose candid descriptions of her idol days are attracting attention, was seen in Abiko City, Chiba Prefecture.
Next to Hirosue, who was wearing a retro one-piece dress and coat in a very Showa style, was Etsushi Toyokawa (60), also wearing a heavy coat and holding a Boston bag in his hand. The two walk hand in hand through a shopping street lined with shuttered stores. Both of them have a sad look on their faces.
On this particular day, they were filming a movie called “The Demon Over There.” Based on the novel of the same title by Arano Inoue, the film depicts the love triangle between his father, Mitsuharu Inoue, his mother, and Jakucho Setouchi. Toyoetsu plays the writer based on Mitsuharu, Hirosue plays his wife, and Shinobu Terajima (49) plays the female writer based on Jakucho.
Just by walking around together, they create a special atmosphere. The love story spun by Toyoetsu, Hirosue, and Terashima is one to be enjoyed on the screen.
