“At the timing when I graduated from university and also from ‘All Night Fuji Co,’ I decided to refresh myself and challenge my sexy side for the first time. I hope many people will see it!”

I see, it’s quite unusual to have graduated from the National University of Music and then debut in gravure like Ide Miki did. In 2022, she achieved five titles including the Grand Prix in the MISS CIRCLE CONTEST 2022, which determines Japan’s top university circle beauty, and she has expanded her activities by being selected as a member of FujiCoz’s 2nd generation, which returned in April last year on “All Night Fuji Co” (Fuji Television).

―― Please introduce yourself.

“Nice to meet you, I’m Miki Ide. I graduated from the National Music University in March of this year. My special skills are piano performance and singing, and my weakness is cleaning (laughs). This is my first time doing a gravure shoot with FRIDAY-san. Thank you in advance!”

―― How was the photo shoot?

“This time, it was my first time doing a mature-themed shoot. Until now, I’ve only done shoots with a fresher feel, so I was surprised at how much my appearance can change just by changing the color of the costumes and posing. I think I enjoyed the shoot, including the atmosphere of the costumes and the studio.”

―― Being a graduate of a music university is quite a unique background. What kind of challenges would you like to take on?

“It’s true that it might be rare for a music university student to also do gravure (laughs). Since I’m good at singing and playing the piano, I’d like to try jobs where I can utilize those skills. I often watch piano battles on ‘TEPPEN’ and karaoke on ‘Chidori no Oni Renchan,’ and I think, ‘I want to appear on those!’ Since I also have a teaching license, I’d like to appear on programs like ‘Actually, I’m ○○.’ I love being photographed, so I want to work harder in gravure activities and appear in more media!”

Graduated from All Night Fujiko! What are your future goals?

―― Do you have any future goals?

“I find it quite difficult to single out a specific person because I feel like I might end up imitating them, but I particularly admire Maomi Yuuki, who is from the same Saga Prefecture and the same agency as me. She’s active not only in gravure but also in various commercials and dramas. Like her, I want to go beyond the framework of a gravure idol and take on various challenges, so she’s a role model for me.

My immediate goal is to have more people know about Miki Ide! In this day and age, we can promote ourselves through social media, so I want people to know about me beyond just my photos. For those who have supported me since my student days, I want them to see me as ‘Miki Ide, not just a student anymore,’ and for those who will get to know me from now on, I want them to see me as ‘Miki Ide, not a student.’ Anyway, I want people to know and see various sides of me.”
