Yu-chami Celebrates Best Birthday at Photo Book Release Event
Talented actress Yu-chami will release her 2nd photo book "Chami Summer" on September 4 (Wed.)!
On September 8 (Sunday), talent Yu-chami celebrated her 23rd birthday. The excited birthday girl rushed to Shibuya after finishing a live television appearance early in the morning.
On this day, at a bookstore in Shibuya, a press conference and handshake event was held to commemorate the release of her second photo book, “Yu-chami 2nd Photo Book Chami Summer.”
“I’m so happy to be able to meet all my fans on my birthday. I’m looking forward to it!”
Despite a tight schedule down to the minute, Yu-chami’s spirits were high.
At 1:00 PM, in front of a crowd of reporters gathered at the venue, Yu-chami took the stage for the photo book release press conference, wearing a pink dress with a deep back cut.
“It was challenging to shoot in Miyako Island because of the rain, but it cleared up just when I was shooting, so I thought to myself, ‘I must be a sunny girl!'”
She reminisced about the location shoot. When asked to rate the quality of the photo book, she replied,
“It’s over 100 points! I’m so confident that it surpasses the last one.”
Her expression brightened as she spoke. It seems her confidence has remained unwavering since the end of the shoot in Miyako Island.
When she saw the surprise cake prepared for her birthday, she exclaimed,
“Wow! It’s super cute! It’s so big that I might get a face full of cake!”
This delighted the crowd.
Yu-chami interacted with fans gathered from all over the country.
She attended a handshake event for fans and readers starting at 2:00 PM. After changing into a yellow dress, Yu-chami beamed as fans praised her, saying, “You’re cute!”
“Right? I look like Gudetama, don’t I?”
She replied proudly. Fans came from various regions, including some who flew in. Many attendees were fans who came to her first photo book handshake event, expressing their gratitude:
“Thank you so much for coming after two years!”
Yu-chami was visibly moved.
