Shime no Ramen and More: NTV’s Mizutani Ana’s Horumon Date at Dawn
What did “FRIDAY” report 10, 20, and 30 years ago? In “Playback Friday,” we take a look back at the topics that were popular at the time. This time, we bring you “Mizuto’s ‘agony’ with her new boyfriend, hormones at dawn,” which appeared in the February 7, 2002 issue 10 years ago.
She joined NTV in 2010 and appeared on “Guru Ninety-Nine” and “Hirunandes! and “Hirunandesu!” in ’10, and her breakthrough came with her unpretentious character, Mitochan, aka Mami Mizuto (26 at the time). The year before this, in 2001, she was ranked No. 1 in Oricon’s “Favorite Female Announcer Ranking,” and this is her “hot love scoop” article.
She was wearing her hair down in a cab…
One night in mid-January, Mito left work after 11 p.m. and went to Ginza with several male colleagues, including her boyfriend, Mr. A. From there, they spent more than three hours drinking. From there, they drank for over three hours. After 3:00 a.m., when the party was over, Mr. A immediately raised his hand and stopped the cab. Mito smiled at his boyfriend and got in. Mr. A also got in, leaving his colleagues behind.
Where was the cab headed? Let’s take a look at the article.
Mito’s hair, which had been tied up in a bun inside the car, was pulled down quickly. It was the moment when Mito returned from being a female TV announcer to being a woman. An atmosphere of agony fills the car (imagine). Will they continue on their way to either of their homes? ……………
However, after getting out of the cab in front of a station in Koto-ku, they headed for a 24-hour, casual, hormone-yaki restaurant.
Alone with his girlfriend. Naturally, the magazine’s anticipation of a glossy development was pleasantly surprised. As the following description describes, the couple gobbled up the juicy hormone with gusto.
The words he speaks to me with body language and hand gestures, even though in front of me is my colleague Mr. A, whom I started dating at the end of last year,
I just responded, “Yeah, yeah. …….”
He only chuckled and sipped his draft beer, then cracked it open, then tipped his mug again and gulped it down again. ……… And then, “Ramen is another meal,” he said,
Ramen is my other stomach.
He also says, “Ramen is my special side,” and he always makes sure to finish his meal with a big bowl of ramen. As the new boyfriend watched them eat their fill, they finally put down their hashi at around 4:30 a.m.
After leaving the hormone store, the two enjoyed another leisurely stroll at dawn before finally heading home at around 5:00 a.m.
In fact, this magazine had reported on Mito’s love affair with Nippon TV employee boyfriend in 2012, but he was a different person from Mr. A. Mito and Mr. A had been together since he joined Nippon TV. Mito had been dating Mr. A right after he joined the company in the first place, but they had broken up around ’12.’ It seems that she and Mr. A had gotten back together shortly before this article appeared in the February 7, 2002 issue.
Mito’s popularity continued to grow, and she was inducted into the “Favorite Female Announcer Ranking” Hall of Fame, taking first place consecutively until ’17. In addition, she has been the “face” of Nippon TV, serving as the general host of “24-Hour TV” for 10 consecutive episodes from 2002 to last year, and in 2009 she became the first woman to serve as the general host of Nippon TV’s morning information program, “ZIP! In March of last year, she was appointed as the “face” of NTV by actor Nakamura Rinri.
When she reported her marriage to actor Nakamura Rinya (37) on “ZIP! Here are some tough episodes from her youth that are typical of Mitochan.
