Ruriko Kojima was reported to have a passionate love affair with the author of the manga “Kingdom”.

Ruriko Kojima, a former celebrity who was reportedly dating Yasuhisa Hara, the creator of the manga “Kingdom,” recently reportedly got married.

Ms. A, who originally worked as a TV personality, is said to have retired from the entertainment industry because she and Mr. Hara were engaged to be married. However, it appears that the promise of marriage was never fulfilled. Then, in August 2020, the Weekly Post scooped Mr. Hara on a date with Ruriko Kojima in Fukuoka.

Upon seeing the report, Ms. A felt that Mr. Hara had “dumped her” and “looted her”. At the time, she confessed on her Twitter account that “ I couldn’t sleep because there were things I really couldn’t forgive.” A series of events were reported in the “Shukan Bunshun” (weekly magazine). Kojima, however, seemed unconcerned, and publicly announced her relationship with Hara on the radio and television.

Mr. Hara divorced Ms. A., and he and Ms. Kojima eventually broke up too. After overcoming such troubles, Ms. A got married. At one point, her boyfriend was taken from her and she retired from show business, but she is now doing well. Surely that she will put this fiasco behind her and lead a smooth-sailing second life.

On the other hand, Kojima’s comments and other activities often came under fire around the time of the Hara relationship report. However, her skill in winning people’s hearts  has brought her many offers from the TV industry and commercial companies.

“At the end of March, I graduated from E-television’s “Science ZERO”. I have regular appearances on Kanto local late-night programs and information programs produced by local stations, but I must say that compared to the past, I have been slowly losing ground.”

In variety shows, the “female ballad” is changing very quickly, and there is a tendency to use more and more talents who have good characters and low fees. Ms. Kojima was a popular personality because of her excellent commentary skills, but I think that since the riot, she has gradually been attracting more and more antagonists.

Of course, marriage is not all about happiness. However, if Kojima has lost so much as a result of the “muddled love triangle” that was reported, it is not surprising that she is now feeling a certain emptiness.
