Special Interview] Yona Enohara, who is the talk of the town with the release of her 1st photo book, “The sexiest I’ve ever been”.

Yina Enohara made her gravure debut at the end of February this year. She has graced the covers of many major magazines in the six months since her debut, and on October 23 she will release her long-awaited 1st On October 23, she will release her long-awaited first photo book. We asked the gravure queen about her thoughts on the photo book and behind the scenes of the photo shoot.

—When we heard that she was going to release her 1st photo book, we were very excited. How did you feel when you heard that your first photo book was going to be released?

I called my mother and told her, “Oh, you’re doing a digital photo book? I thought I might have misheard her!　So I hurriedly called my manager to reconfirm the news. I thought I must have misheard her, so I hurriedly contacted my manager to reconfirm the news. That’s how unbelievable it was. Paper photo books are expensive and hard to find a place to put them. I wondered if anyone other than my relatives would buy them. …… I guess that was my first concern.

—The first issue of FRIDAY that graced the cover of the magazine was instantly sold out in many places. Do you feel any sense of your own popularity?

When I woke up in the morning, I got a message saying, “You can’t buy it because it’s out of stock. I was very surprised when I woke up in the morning and received many messages on SNS I was very surprised to see so many messages on SNS saying, ‘We can’t buy it because we don’t have it in stock. I received a lot of comments like, “The cover is really beautiful,” and “You can see how hard I worked on my body,” and I was happy that what I wanted to express was conveyed through the photos. I was happy that what I wanted to express was conveyed through the photos, but I didn’t think that my fan base had grown by leaps and bounds!　But I didn’t think that I had gained a lot of fans.

—Your 1st photo book was shot in Taiwan. How was your first visit to Taiwan?

I had an image of Taiwan as having a cool climate, but it was very hot and humid. I was shooting in Kaohsiung City, which recorded the hottest temperature ever recorded in June!　It was so hot that I was even annoyed by the weather (laughs). But when I tried my best to communicate with a local convenience store clerk in broken English, he said, “Enjoy Taiwan! Everyone in Taiwan was so kind to me, and I hope to return in the near future.

The thing I want you to see most is her in her best lingerie.

—I heard that you worked even harder on your body for the photo book shoot.

I worked especially hard on my back muscles, and for the first time in my life, I felt confident about my back. I worked hard on my back and décolleté while continuing to lose weight, which I hate, so I hope you will pay attention to that part of my body.

—What has supported you in your training?

My parents’ words support me. We call each other almost every day, and they supported me while I was on location in Taiwan. They tell me one by one, “You have lost so much weight,” or “Your body line has become more beautiful,” etc. They encourage me.

—What do you want everyone to see most in the photo book?

What do you want people to see most in the photo book? “The thing I want you to see the most is my fullest effort in lingerie!　I tried on a lot of lingerie in patterns and colors that I had never worn before, and I took on the challenge of exposing the most I have ever done. I tried to pose and express myself in a way that would make me look the sexiest I have ever looked, so I hope you enjoy it!
