We asked Koichi Domoto what he really meant by his “meaningful comments on Instagram and blog”.
Fans are upset by the explosion of dissatisfaction. He revealed his displeasure with the "Johnny's Festival" to be held on December 30, and on SNS, he smelled that he was "talking about a lot of things" to mark the 25th anniversary of his formation.
Koichi Domoto (42) of KinKi Kids has been experiencing something strange. It all started with Koichi’s post on the paid blog of the Johnny’s office at 11pm on November 19th. On the same day, it was announced that Kinki would hold a concert at Tokyo Dome on January 1, ’22.
Kinki’s Tokyo Dome concert has been announced… I’m not going to lie to you… I’ve been told since the middle of this year that it would be difficult to hold a dome concert this year because of the Covid-19 disaster and the renovation of the Tokyo Dome… However, at the end of the year, I was told that the Johnny’s festival would be held at the Tokyo Dome. I thought to myself, “Isn’t that a different story? I thought to myself.
This “Johnny’s Fest” refers to the “Johnny’s Festival” to be held on December 30th, featuring 13 artists from the Johnny’s Office, which was already announced on November 8th.
It was already announced on November 8.
The live performance on January 1 is very special for Kinki. Last year, it was held as a delivery at the new Covid-19, but since New Year’s Day is Koichi’s birthday, we have held the live every year. Despite this, they planned and announced ahead of time a live performance at Tokyo Dome for the whole office, saying that it would be difficult for them to perform at the dome. I pointed out that they might be disrespecting their fans who look forward to the New Year’s Day live every year. This is a clear ‘criticism of the office’ and it is unusual for a Johnny’s celebrity to do such an act.
In his blog, he wrote that he had decided to hold a Kinki concert on January 1, using the same set used for the Johnny’s festival. However, he was not happy about it, saying, “It’s too late for something so big.
Koichi didn’t stop there. The next day, on the 20th, he went on Insta Live from his hotel in Hakata, Fukuoka, where he was staying, and mentioned the troubles at the concert, expressing his displeasure.
He said, “After all, there is the matter of Tsuyoshi’s ear. When we make our own concerts, we carefully consider everything from the shape of the set to the position of the speakers. But at Johnny’s Fest, things can’t just be done based on our opinions.”
What does “other things” mean?
The “other thing” Koichi is referring to is the sudden hearing loss that Tsuyoshi Domoto (42) announced in 2005.
It’s very rare for Koichi to mention Tsuyoshi’s sudden hearing loss. It’s very rare for Koichi to mention Tsuyoshi’s sudden hearing loss, and I think he wanted to tell us why he was uncomfortable with it, even if he had to mention something so private. We can assume that the office’s approach was that unbearable.
Koichi’s outburst of frustration is said to have upset his fans as well. In addition, the following “meaningful comments” were made on this Insta Live.
He said, “Kinki will be celebrating its 25th anniversary next year. We’ve been talking about other things, too.
What does he mean by “other things”? What do you mean by “other things”?
It is said that they may be discussing leaving the Johnny’s office. With Tomoya Nagase (43) and Go Morita (42) continuing the domino of exits, Koichi is undoubtedly dissatisfied with his current situation. He is probably thinking that the trouble at this live concert is ‘impossible when Janie (Kitagawa) was still alive, who always put the fans first. I wouldn’t be surprised if he decides to leave the group on the occasion of its 25th anniversary.
In late November, I interviewed Koichi directly while he was performing on stage at Hakataza in Hakata, Fukuoka.
–Koichi-san, this is Friday. I’m not sure if it’s true or not.
…………”
–The fans are confused by Koichi’s words on Instagram Live. Can you give us a word?
When I asked him that, Koichi let out a “huff”. When I asked him what he had to say, Koichi let out a “huff” and looked at this reporter walking alongside him and said, “Nothing at all.
“Not at all.”
With that, he turned around and walked to the backstage entrance of Hakataza.
How will he act in this milestone year?
