Tokyo Auto Salon 2024, Japan’s largest car event, was held from January 12 to 14, attracting 230,000 visitors over the three days.
“Approximately 380 companies, including major manufacturers like Toyota, participated. Over 4,000 booths were exhibited. Mini live performances by Koda Kumi and Noriko Sakai were also held, making the venue extremely lively,” said a representative from the organizing company.
Alongside captivating attractions, the companions drew in visitors. Gravure idol Nanako Aizawa made an appearance at the collaborative booth of popular parts manufacturers “VELENO” and “Garage Chikara,” showcasing her outstanding 173cm stature. Over a hundred fans flocked to her, cameras in hand, remarked a representative.
There was also a beautiful woman who showed off her outrageous cosplay. A variety of daring cosplays were seen, including a sexy see-through Chinese outfit and a fox dance costume.
“COVID-19 has also subsided, and there were many foreign media outlets present. In recent years, the Auto Salon has been held in China and Malaysia, attracting tens of thousands of attendees. Japanese classic cars are booming worldwide. Exhibits such as the historical GT-R models were well-received, catering to the international audience,” added the same source.
