Matsujun, Alice Hirose, Masumi Arimura… The “full of charm” appearance of the cast of the Taiga “Ieyasu
The drama will feature the “Sengoku All-Stars,” and at the same time, how “Team Tokugawa” will be portrayed will be the main point of the drama. I feel like it’s finally starting.”
At the announcement of the cast of the 23rd NHK Taiga Drama “Dousuru Ieyasu” held on April 15, Matsumoto Jun (38), the lead actor of the drama, expressed his enthusiasm. Matsumoto Jun will play Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Edo Shogunate. The film is said to be an entertainment depicting the life of Ieyasu, who united the country despite being tossed about by the times in a turbulent age of subjugation.
Matsujun, who was appointed by the cast to be in charge of meals, said, “It was a long shoot.
I’m thinking about how much delicious food I can give everyone. All my fee will go there. It’s easier to build a team when you have the stomach for it.”
Alice’s hammy
Making her first appearance on the Taiga is Alice Hirose (27). She plays the role of Eoai no Kata, Ieyasu’s wife and the mother of the second shogun, Hidetada. The role is said to be humorous. At the press conference, Hirose comically explained.
I have a strong face, so I thought I would never get involved in a period drama. (I guess the role of Eo Ai suits me.”
Hirose’s rising popularity has kept her extremely busy.
She has appeared in commercials for five different companies this year, and in the April cool season, she appeared in “Love, What’s the Serious Deal? (Fuji Television) and “Tantei ga Hayato Haru no Trick Return Festival” (Nippon Television). Starring in two dramas at the same time is an unusual occurrence. She says that her schedule for this year is pitch black with plans.
However, Ms. Hirose has a cheerful personality and is very positive. Even when she is busy, she seems to enjoy her work. She is especially good at creating “beloved characters” with comical expressions. The humorous Eo Ai would be a perfect role for her.
The supporting cast is also superb, including Masumi Arimura (29) as first love Chikuyama-dono, Junichi Okada (41) as Oda Nobunaga, Muro Tsuyoshi (46) as Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Hiroshi Abe (57) as Takeda Shingen. We can hardly wait to see the epic story of the “Sengoku All-Stars.
