Sexy Zone’s Fuma Kikuchi’s Drama Filmed on the Busy Shopping Street

In mid-February, the shopping street in front of Nakameguro Station was filled with the yellow voices of young women. The man in front of their eyes was Kikuchi Fuma (26) of “Sexy Zone.
Apparently, he was filming for the drama “Fight Song” (TBS), which is currently airing. The street was lined with female fans who wanted to see Kikuchi. The fans was full of excitement while they shout “Kazemasu ♡”.
The scene being filmed was a scene in a restaurant where Kikuchi and the heroine, Kaya Kiyohara (20) and Shigeyuki Toji (48), were talking together. Whenever the cut was made, for some reason, Kikuchi was the only one who went outside and fiddled with his phone. Is this his fan-service for those who are willingly waiting for him in spite of cold weather?
Kikuchi was less famous member of “Sexy Zone” compared to Nakajima Kento and Sato Katsutoshi. However, about two years ago, he began to appear in variety shows, a complete turnaround from his prince-like character and have develop a fan base.
This casual “fan service” may be one of the reasons for his popularity.
