On September 30, the Warabi Police Station of the Saitama Prefectural Police re-arrested Kaii Konishi, 43, a professional table tennis player and former member of Japan’s national team, on suspicion of indecent assault.

Konishi was arrested on August 20 on the charge of indecent assault with non-consent and later indicted on the same charge.
