In June, a press conference was held for the launch of the UFO Parliamentary League. In the center, prominent Diet members such as Seiji Maehara, Mr. Hamada, Mr. Koizumi, and Mr. Kazuhiro Haraguchi can be seen.

Members of the Diet are serious about elucidating unidentified phenomena and unknown objects.

In June, the bipartisan “Parliamentary League for Investigating Unidentified Anomalies from a Security Perspective” (UFO Parliamentary League, chaired by Yasukazu Hamada) was launched. Mr. Hamada, Mr. Shigeru Ishiba (both from the Liberal Democratic Party), and 88 others, including Shinjiro Koizumi, Chairman of the House of Representatives Security Committee (LDP), participated in this large-scale league.

The members of the Diet are approaching the investigation of UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) and UFOs with great seriousness.

Chairman Hamada stated during the inaugural meeting of the league, “Up until now, there have been many uncertainties. Gathering information solely to clarify what is not understood and engaging in discussions is extremely important.” Mr. Ishiba, speaking after the general meeting, said on the Nico Nico Live broadcast “SP of the Parliamentary League for Investigating Unidentified Anomalies from a Security Perspective”:

“When I was Defense Minister, I said there was no basis to deny the existence of extraterrestrial life. It’s good that the UFO Parliamentary League allows serious discussion without being treated as fringe. If extraterrestrial life were visiting Earth, Japan and the U.S., given their knowledge of security arrangements, should share recognition of UFOs. On that premise, it is extremely important for Japan and the U.S. to share their understanding of UFOs.”

The initiator of this league is Yoshiharu Asakawa (56), a member of the Japan Innovation Party, widely regarded as the most knowledgeable parliamentarian on UFO-related issues in Japan. Mr. Asakawa has repeatedly raised questions about UFO issues in the Diet, but in Japan, these have often remained within the realm of the “occult.” Reflecting on his efforts, Mr. Asakawa remarked.

“In 2021, after being elected to parliament, I raised the topic of UFOs in my first question at the Cabinet Committee. Just as I was planning to delve deeper into this issue, my party, Japan Innovation Party, instructed me to refrain from asking further questions. At the time, many legislators were unaware of the significant efforts in the U.S. toward UFO investigation.

Amidst this, in February of last year, an incident occurred where a balloon suspected to be a Chinese reconnaissance device was shot down over the mainland U.S. Then in September, a UFO hearing was held in Mexico where ‘alien mummies’ were displayed, and I was invited from Japan. These events contributed to the growing awareness of the UFO issue in Japan.”

Regarding the establishment of the UFO Parliamentary League, Mr. Asakawa continues.

“In November of last year, after repeatedly seeing me ask questions about UFOs, Shinjiro Koizumi, Chairman of the House of Representatives Security Committee, patted me on the shoulder and suggested, ‘Why don’t you form a UFO Parliamentary League?’ I also received high-level encouragement to ‘please consider it.’ Subsequently, Takashi Endo of the Japan Innovation Party spoke to former Defense Minister Yasukazu Hamada through their connection as Diet affairs committee chairmen, and Mr. Hamada agreed to take on the role of the founding representative of the league.

Furthermore, when Shinjiro Koizumi, who looks up to Mr. Hamada as a father figure in the political world, was decided as the secretary-general, things proceeded smoothly. In fact, there are quite a few members of the Diet who claim to have seen UFOs. Among my acquaintances in the Diet, about 20% have had such experiences. It seems many legislators were already interested.”

In the premium edition of ‘FRIDAY GOLD,’ detailed reports on unidentified phenomena and chilling information about extraterrestrial beings encountered by humanity are provided based on testimony from Representative Asakawa. Rare and exclusive UFO photos are also included.
