<p>The first half of the year seems to have ended in a blink of an eye, but many unusual events and happenings took place in Kabukicho. In this issue, we would like to introduce some of the topics that have been the rage in Kabukicho over the past six months.</p>

<p>First and foremost is the popular manga &#8220;Tomorrow, I&#8217;ll Be Someone&#8217;s Kanojo&#8221; (a.k.a. &#8220;Tomorrow, I&#8217;ll Be Someone&#8217;s Kanojo&#8221; (a.k.a. &#8220;Tomorrow&#8217;s Kanojo&#8221;), a popular manga serialized in &#8220;Saikomi&#8221; (Cygames), was given a long-awaited drama adaptation by MBS this spring. In fact, residents of Kabukicho love the manga.</p>
<p>The manga is popular for its realistic depiction of the struggles of girls with various feelings in the city of Tokyo. The &#8220;Kabukicho Host Club&#8221; story, featuring Moe, a &#8220;normal college girl,&#8221; and Yua, a &#8220;the mine-pien type girl,&#8221; is particularly popular. In the work, girls who start prostitutes to pay tribute to hosts and girls who spend money in the glittering town of Kabukicho are portrayed.</p>
<p>After the drama series was made, the &#8220;Asuka Kano&#8221; craze grew even stronger, and the number of girls in Kabukicho saying, &#8220;I want to be an Asuka Kano too! The number of girls in Kabukicho who say, &#8220;I want to be an asahi kano, too! I came here after watching &#8220;Kano Tomorrow&#8221;! The influence of the drama has been tremendous. <p>What is surprising, however, is that it is not limited to host clubs, but there are also girls who started their sex life after watching &#8220;Kano Tomorrow. It is not clear whether it is the euphoria of doing an unpleasant job for someone else that is so appealing, but the fact that young girls easily enter the nightlife world under the influence of manga and drama is truly &#8220;pien&#8221; in its current state.</p>

<p>The next hot topic is the men&#8217;s esthetic clinic area. Perhaps due to the recession, more and more girls are knocking on the door of men&#8217;s esthetic salons that claim to be healthy. Many girls may think, &#8220;If it is a men&#8217;s esthetic salon and not a sex establishment, it should be fine. &#8230;&#8230;,&#8221; but recently there have been frequent occurrences of salons that offer &#8220;hobby classes&#8221; and &#8220;voyeurism. In &#8220;hobby training,&#8221; the owner directly gives a lesson to a girl he likes and gives her a hand job or performs a real sex act. There are also some malicious stores where the owner steals videos of the therapist during the treatment and uploads them to adult sites without permission in order to make money. We can only hope that the bad establishments will disappear as soon as possible.</p>
<p>Incidents also occur on the streets of Kabukicho. The number of &#8220;tachimbo&#8221; (standing up to play with a handkerchief) has been increasing rapidly. It is said that young girls are gathering at night in Kabukicho&#8217;s stand-up spots. Surprisingly, many of the girls are in their teens, and prostitution is being offered at a price of around 15,000 yen.</p>
<p>Since the girls engage in aid-seeking near Okubo Park, it is called &#8220;kosai,&#8221; and has reportedly become a kind of entertainment among some of the girls. It seems that some of these girls are mixed in with the &#8220;tohyoko kids&#8221; as they are called.</p>
<p>Furthermore, there are rumors that there is even an overly suspicious uncle who offers to &#8220;do methamphetamines with&#8221; these girls. Compared to about a year ago, when Friday first reported on the &#8220;Toyoko Kids,&#8221; the Kabukicho area has seen a marked decline in the number of young people and a deterioration in public safety.</p>
<p>Although Kabukicho has been the subject of many unpleasant stories, there is also this bright news. Roland, the king of the host world, is finally planning to make a comeback to Kabukicho. Roland must be feeling sad about the current state of Kabukicho. As a charismatic host, we hope that he will revive the bright and fun Kabukicho of old.</p>
