Zelensky Hints at Resignation—Shocking Nuclear Statement as Putin Laughs Mockingly
Experts Explain the Terrifying Intentions of the U.S., China, and Russia Behind the Situation in Ukraine
“We are ready for a nuclear attack.”
Ukrainian President Zelensky has hinted at his resignation.
“If it brings peace to Ukraine, I am prepared to step down,” he stated during a press conference held in Kyiv on February 23.
The following day, February 24, marked the third anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The war remains at a stalemate. Since the invasion began, approximately 45,100 Ukrainian soldiers have lost their lives, along with around 13,000 civilians. Discontent is growing within Ukraine over the high number of casualties, while pressure on Zelensky from abroad is also intensifying.
“The most vocal critic is U.S. President Trump. Zelensky’s term was supposed to end last May, but elections were prohibited under martial law, allowing his administration to continue. Trump has condemned him as a dictator without elections.
Trump is likely frustrated by stalled negotiations over the transfer of resources like titanium and lithium, which he has sought in exchange for U.S. support to Ukraine. Zelensky’s remarks suggesting his resignation can also be seen as a reaction to Trump’s criticism,” said a national newspaper journalist.
Zelensky’s shocking statements go beyond just hinting at resignation. On February 4, he met with senior officials from the International Atomic Energy Agency and made the following remark:
“Nuclear armament is also one of the options for security measures.”
Russian President Putin has also repeatedly mentioned nuclear weapons, stating in March last year, “Our nuclear weapons are the most advanced of any nation, and we are ready for an attack.” Concerns are growing in Europe that the conflict between Russia and Ukraine could escalate into nuclear war.
