Aoi Yu Spotted on the Set of Netflix Drama “Gas Man” with Shun Oguri!

A talented actress has returned as a triple threat—an actress, president, and mother.

On a September evening around 7 PM, actress Yu Aoi (39) stepped out of a parked car on the streets of Ueno (Taito Ward). Her office casual outfit complemented her short hair well.

That day, she was filming the Netflix project “Gas Human,” in which she co-stars with Shun Oguri (41). During breaks, she relaxed in the car while fiddling with her smartphone, and when the staff called for her, she returned to the set with a cheerful expression.

“Aoi gave birth to her first child in 2022 and had to scale back her work, but she made a full comeback the following year with the NHK morning drama ‘Boogie Woogie.’ There is anticipation that her exceptional acting skills will showcase something different from other actors.

At Aoi’s level, she can choose her projects, and she became the president of her talent agency in 2021. The production budget and salaries of streaming dramas likely influenced her decision to participate,” said entertainment reporter Takayuki Joushita.
