On September 25, former celebrity and businessman Kenji Haga (real name Mikio Toma, 63) was arrested on suspicion of obstruction of execution. This is his third arrest.

In June 2011, Haga conspired with seven others, including the leader of a gang affiliated with Yamaguchigumi’s Kodokai. He is suspected of lying about the registration of a building and land he owned in Okinawa Prefecture, claiming that the ownership had been transferred to the company he represented, in order to avoid foreclosure. As of March 26, the police have not revealed the identities of the seven suspects.

According to an article distributed by “TBS NEWS DIG” at noon on the 26th, an investigator said that the suspect Haga’s company may have been established for the purpose of false registration in the first place. It is believed that the loan of purchase money and the registration of the company were carried out under the direction of the gang leader.

Suspect Haga transferred from Okinawa to Aichi Prefecture

The suspect, Haga, was arrested in Okinawa Prefecture, where he resides, on March 25, and later transferred to Aichi Prefecture. He was wearing a black cap and a black mask, and we could not see his expression as he stepped down from the airplane ramp at the Central Japan International Airport.

Haga was arrested in June 2007 on suspicion of trying to evade debt by selling private equities at a high price by concealing the original price, and was sentenced to six years in prison. In ’19, he was arrested on charges of obstructing enforcement through a sham divorce and sentenced to one year and two months in prison.’ He was re-released from prison in September 2009 and resumed his entertainment activities while running a temporary staffing agency in Okinawa, but I guess that means he could not be completely rehabilitated,” said a reporter from the society section of a national newspaper.

I want to become someone who can lead a normal life.”

In July 2011, two years after his release from prison in September 2009. This magazine had conducted a direct interview with Haga, who had just finished his second day as a “trial host” at the famous “Ai Honten” host club in Shinjuku’s Kabukicho district. There, he said, “There is no such thing as a good story.” …… The following is a reproduction of the article (some of the content has been corrected)–.

It was a little past 2:00 a.m. in July ’23. In Kabukicho, Shinjuku, Kenji Haga was walking with a white jacket over his tanned skin. When this magazine approached him,

“Ask me anything,” he replied.

He responded, “Ask me anything. He looked a little tired, probably because he had just finished his second day as a “trial host” at the “Ai Honten.

I was here for five days, and I was very impressed with the hosts at ‘Ai Honten. The hosts at “Ai Honten” are all about 40 years younger than me, but they are all really solid. They are polite, don’t miss any customer’s move, and follow any topic of conversation. They are very serious and study hard. And he is as handsome as an idol.

I’m sure everyone thinks, ‘Oh, Haga is too old to be a host. ……,’ but he has no intention of losing (laughs). I have experience that younger people don’t have, so I show them how to behave according to TPO. I’m going to show them that I have a big back.

He got his big break as a member of the first “Iitomo Seinen-tai. He became a regular on the Japan Wide TV show after having affairs with a number of beautiful women. His experience can certainly be put to good use in customer service. It was in 2007 that Haga was suddenly arrested. Haga was arrested in 2007 on suspicion of fraud in connection with the sale and purchase of private equities. At the time, this magazine was the first to report on the case, and Haga said, “I have nothing but gratitude.

I was thoroughly beaten up by Friday at the time. Of course, it was my fault, but I really went through hell. But, you know, I have no grudge against them at all. I was on the cover of Friday magazine once. I support people who are doing their best, and if they do something wrong, I criticize them. I think that is natural and fair. And this time, he came to interview me trying to do my best.

Haga was positive at the time, saying that he had “learned a lesson” by “losing everything.

Days at a department store working on loading in

I was shallow, or perhaps I thought too lightly. …… Everything that happens to me is caused by me. There is no such thing as a good story. I want to become a person who can lead a normal life. I am currently running a small company with a little over 10 employees in Okinawa, where I am based.

When we have a pop-up store, I work at the department store after it closes to bring in the goods. I also design jewelry. I don’t earn enough money to afford luxuries, and it is common for me to eat cup noodles for dinner, but I believe that if I don’t stay grounded and build up my credibility one step at a time, it will really be the end.

I wonder if the day will ever come when Haga can truly be rehabilitated.
