Tsuyoshi Kusanagi stops by a “common supermarket” and goes to his new home where his new wife is waiting
News on the Scene FRIDAY Eyewitness News Harikomi 24 (Tokyo, 7:50 p.m.)
One day in late August, I found Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, 47, who served as an ambassador for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, where fierce competitions were held every day, at a popular supermarket in a quiet residential area of Tokyo.
Kusanagi is indeed known as a fashionista. Despite the heat, he was wearing a long-sleeved jacket and a stole, coordinated ahead of the season. Perhaps he was also shopping ahead of the season, but Kusanagi caught sight of the baked sweet potato section and grabbed one.
He then put fruit and other items into his basket one after another and went to the cash register. Suddenly, however, he shouted, “Oh, I forgot! He left the line and returned to the sales floor. His voice was loud enough to be heard around him, but he seemed to be talking to himself.
At the end of last year, Kusanagi got married to an ordinary woman. The newlyweds live in a large mansion with a total of 2 billion yen in land and buildings.
After finishing his shopping, Kusanagi went straight home to the mansion. The couple probably spends their days peacefully enjoying baked potatoes together.
