Just before the mandatory investigation, Senator Garcia had the luxury of posting two shots of himself and former Barcelona player Pjanic on social media.

The Metropolitan Police Department made a case against him for habitual threats

Based overseas, and having obtained the right to arrest, Councilor Garcy (Yoshikazu Higashitani, 51), who is supposed to be well-protected as an exposé-style YouTube star, has been in a flurry of activity in the area.

Several celebrities have filed complaints alleging that they have been threatened or slandered by Senator Garcy. On January 11, the company that manages his YouTube income was raided simultaneously.

Congressman Garcy reacted immediately, announcing via social networking sites that he would return home in March to attend the hearing. Initially, it was reported that he would return to Japan in January to attend the regular Diet session, and it appeared that he delayed his return to Japan for fear of arrest, but his policy secretary, Fumihisa Watanabe, denies this, saying, “The January return to Japan was an act of courage by the media.”

Fumihisa Watanabe, a policy secretary, denies that “his return to Japan in January was an act of courage by the media. However, in response to his request to see the Diet at least once for the sake of his supporters, I suggested that he return to Japan at the beginning of March, when the House of Councillors would begin deliberations on the budget, and he agreed. That’s all there is to it.”

It was an answer that even made us feel that he had enough time to spare. Some investigators believe that he will return to Japan during a session in which he cannot be arrested, and if the situation becomes dangerous, he will go into hiding outside the country under the pretense of avoiding unjustified arrest.

“If they are investigating him for violating the Violent Acts Punishment Law, which is not mere threats but habitual threats, they are probably looking at arresting him. It is unprecedented for a person to be absent from the Diet for an extended period of time without Diet approval. If this continues, it is inevitable that a disciplinary committee meeting will be held.”

The Metropolitan Police Department has not overlooked the fact that there is a hole in its full protection here.

“The only way to clear the privilege of non-arrest is to go outside the Diet session or to obtain permission from the House of Councillors. It is extremely difficult to obtain permission, but the NHK party, to which Senator Gershie belongs, is in the minority. Moreover, if he is a member of the Diet subject to punishment, the chances of getting permission increase. Rep. Gershey is also facing a public outcry because of the huge amount of income he receives from taxpayers’ money without ever appearing in the Diet. If he stalls his return to Japan, the Metropolitan Police Department will aim to obtain an arrest warrant and even revoke his passport. It can be said that he is faced with the ultimate choice: return home early and submit to an interview, or go underground in fear of an arrest warrant,” said lawyer Erika Shinoda.

In the spirit of YouTube, he should tell his story in full.

Takashi Tachibana, leader of the NHK Party, said, “The raid is to be expected. I would like you to question the NHK chairman in the Diet.”
