In front of Setagaya-Daita Station, which has become a “sacred place”…Kaho’s “silent” photo under a parasol…!
All-out coverage! The "Final Goal" of these people!

The drama “Silent” (Fuji Television) has been the talk of the town, with the number of views on the streaming service breaking the all-time record for a private TV program. The cafes and stations along the Odakyu line that appear in the drama have become a social phenomenon, with fans flocking to the “holy places” in the drama.
This magazine witnessed the filming in front of Setagaya-Daita Station. On that day, Kaho (31) was standing in front of a ticket gate, looking around and falling over.
Kaho plays Nana, a deaf woman who has feelings for a young man who has lost his hearing. Although she does not speak and only signs her lines, she expresses her feelings with delicate eye movements and facial expressions, and many fans have become emotionally involved with Nana.
She seems to have practiced sign language to the point where she can use it on a daily basis, and the “naturalness” of her performance, backed up by her efforts, enhances the perfection of her performance. Her strength is that she is able to blend into the story as if she were a resident of the world in which she plays, without making us aware of Kaho as a performer.
Kaho is currently starring in the drama “The Man Who Was Picked Up: Lost Man Found” (NHK Sogo), but she is a completely different person from the one in “silent. If you compare the two, you will be able to feel her acting ability more clearly.
