It’s already been two years since the black-marketing problem was revealed. Hiroyuki Miyasako and his partner Toru Hotarubara of the comedy duo “Ameagari Kessetai”, who had been central figures in the group, have announced their dissolution.
The VTR shown on ABEMA and Yoshimoto Kogyo’s YouTube channel titled “Ametalk Special Edition: Ameagari Kessatsu-tai Breakup Report Meeting” showed the atmosphere that the two would never perform manzai together again. That’s how angry and sad Mr. Hotaruhara must have been.
Mr. Miyasako, who was fired from his company due to the black-marketing problem, has been able to make enough money through YouTube and other means to make a living. However, the press conference held by Mr. Miyasako and Ryo Tamura of “London Boots No. 1 and No. 2” in an attempt to convince the public also brought the dark side of Yoshimoto Kogyo into sharp focus.
It was as if there was a problem with the comedians’ salaries and “threats” from Yoshimoto executives. At a very long press conference, I asked the president of Yoshimoto, Akihiko Okamoto, a question.
“I asked Mr. Okamoto what he meant when he said, “I hope you didn’t get the tape.
I asked him.
“He replied, “It was a joke.
He replied, “It was a joke.
Thinking about it now, I have the impression that the press conference by Mr. Miyasako and Mr. Tamura laid bare the entire corporate Yoshimoto Kogyo.
It is also true that some jobs were cancelled due to the dark side of the company being exposed. The issue of the talents’ salaries seemed to have been won by the comedians with the introduction of agent contracts, but the talents who worked hard to claim their “share” ended up crying in the end as they lost TV appearances and live performances due to the Corona disaster.
Mr. Hotaruhara was the one who initiated the dissolution. He said.
“I want to revive the duo with Mr. Miyasako when I’m released from Yoshimoto’s house arrest.
He really wanted to revive the duo with Miyasako. But Mr. Miyasako acted without knowing his feelings, and YouTube was one of them. Mr. Miyasako also said
“I want to be back on TV with my partner someday.
Mr. Miyasako said that he wanted to return to TV with his partner someday, but he did not understand Mr. Hotaruhara’s feelings, and had many of his comedian friends appear as guests on YouTube. It was a huge misunderstanding with Ms. Hotarubara’s feelings.
As for the dissolution of the duo, it was bad enough that they offered black market deals and involved celebrities, but the biggest problem was that they lied and said that they had not received any money. He also acted selfishly without consulting his partner. He must have been conceited.
It’s been a year since Ken Watabe of “Anjash” disappeared from the TV world due to a woman scandal. I think his partner Kazuya Kojima was fed up with Watabe’s conceit and didn’t offer any help.
So I wish Miyasako-san had understood Hotaruhara-san’s feelings earlier, but it’s too late now.
