On July 2, he appeared on the music special program “THE MUSIC DAY” (Nippon Television Network) on July 2. Sho Sakurai (40). He also served as general host for the eleventh time for an election special to be broadcast on July 10 on the same network.
On this day in early June, Sakurai was seen in a residential area of Yokohama City. He was filming a movie. In this scene, Sakurai stares out at the street from behind the plants of a house on the side of the road. Sakurai was standing there, looking like he was thinking about something while waiting for his cue.
The filming took place at a busy intersection, and it was crowded with people stopping to catch a glimpse of the filming. Columnist Takahiko Kageyama had this to say about Sakurai after his hiatus from “Arashi”: “He is the eldest son of an elite family.
He grew up as the eldest son of an elite family. He may be smart, but I think he is where he is today because he works harder than anyone else. He is calm and collected, and when you watch him, you can see that he is the main anchor of “news zero” (Nippon TV). Yumiko Arido, 53, the main newscaster on “news zero” (Nittele), relies on him more than the other newscasters. I think being a newscaster must be his life’s work.
A year and a half after the group’s hiatus, the foundation for his work already seems solid. Sakurai turned 40 this year. He has also started a “marshmallow group” of junior members who adore him, and even now that he is married and settled down, he is still showing his back as a senior member of the group who is at the forefront of the music industry.
