On June 1, Johnny Depp won a lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard. The case was awarded $15 million and Amber was ordered to pay $15 million to Depp.
In Kabukicho, domestic violence (DV) has been a hot topic. There have always been stories of female clients assaulting their male host, but what we hear more often these days is DV/moraharassment from women to men.

 The girls are in control, or rather, the girls who are making money are the strong ones. Kabukicho is a town where earning money is what matters.
Hana (pseudonym, 27) has been playing in Kabukicho for many years. Hana&#8217;s friend says that she keeps the hosts under her control with money.
 She says, &#8220;I have a friend who is dating an unsuccessful host. She&#8217;s a popular soap opera star, and she supports most of the host&#8217;s income. So when they fight, she&#8217;s very abusive. She says things like, &#8216;You&#8217;re a piece of trash who wouldn&#8217;t be worth a penny if it weren&#8217;t for me. Sometimes she gets drunk and she will hit him. I didn&#8217;t know how to respond when she showed me a picture of her boyfriend covered in blood while laughing, saying, &#8216;I hit him so hard he bled a lot. Not only those friends, but many hosts endure their partner&#8217;s verbal abuse and violence for the sake of money.&#8221;

DV/molestation is not only the case against hosts. Some papa-girls seem to repeat extreme moral harassment against their own sugar-daddy. One of the papa-katsu-girls, Misa (pseudonym, 19), said,
&#8220;My sugar-daddy told me that a couple of years ago, he was harassed by a girl he had been seeing for a long time. My sugar-daddy was a very timid  guy who would do as he was told when he was yelled at. Every time he&#8217;s with her, she would yell things like, &#8216;You&#8217;re useless,&#8217; or &#8216;You&#8217;re disgusting,&#8217; and it was driving him mentally crazy.&#8221;
The man could no longer stand the repeated verbal abuse and decided to break up with her. Then, he said, the harassment intensified.
&#8220;He said, &#8216;She would snapped at me and will say things like: &#8216;Is that how you want to get rid of me? She was so angry with me. He couldn&#8217;t break up with her easily and was tormented by the harassment for a long time, until he ended up going to a psychiatrist. The girl got tired of it eventually and we managed to break up,&#8217; but he still seems to be in pain when he talks about it. There are quite a few sugar-babies like that girl, who enjoy manipulating and bullying the old man. It&#8217;s like they need to dominate their partner to feel good about themselves. I understand that it is hard to spend time with an old man, but as long as you are getting paid, it is a business, and you should enjoy the company of your partner.
Is there anything sadder than to be tormented by moral harassers in one&#8217;s sugar-daddy&#8217;s life, which one started in order to be healed by a young woman? In most cases, however, the perpetrators of the harassment are not at all offended, saying, &#8220;The creepy old man deserves to be treated badly.&#8221;
Listening to the earnest voices of these male victims, one wonders if this is a problem that can be put to rest by saying, &#8220;Well, it&#8217;s Kabukicho.&#8221;
