 Risk control means, specifically, cutting your losses. This minimizes the loss, and if the timing of the purchase was simply bad, you can re-purchase the stock when the time is right. However, it is also important to set a rule that you can only re-purchase stocks up to three times, as you may have made a mistake in the stock selection itself.
