On April 16, actress Mai Shiraishi (29) took the stage at the opening greeting for the anime film &#8220;Detective Conan: Bride of Halloween&#8221; in Roppongi (Minato-ku).

 Shiraishi said she was overjoyed when the casting decision was made because her first voice acting job was &#8220;Detective Conan,&#8221; which she had been a big fan of since elementary school and always watched before going to cram school. The role is that of a female leader of a Russian unit, and it was reported heard that she learned Russian from a native Russian teacher to play the role.
Since her graduation from &#8220;Nogizaka46,&#8221; Shiraishi has been sought after as an MC for variety shows, TV dramas, and movies. In this winter&#8217;s drama, &#8220;Not to be Called a Mystery&#8221; (Fuji TV), she played a woman who died mysteriously and attracted much attention.
About the highlights of the movie, Shiraishi said, &#8220;I like the romantic element a lot.&#8221;
 I really like the romantic element. I think you can enjoy the cute points of Detective Sato and Detective Takagi no matter how many times you watch the movie. I was very touched by them too.
The press who came to interview Shiraishi were captured by her beauty as she smiled in response.
