A cluster report on the military parade… The depths of the “intense contact theory” of Kim Jong-un
More than 10,000 soldiers participated in the event. A large number of civilians also gathered in the square. However, no one was wearing a mask – no one was wearing a mask.
There are reports of a cluster of the new coronavirus in North Korea. The source of the outbreak is said to be the military parade held on September 9 at Kim Il Sung Square in the capital Pyongyang to mark the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the country. According to the South Korean media outlet Daily NK, all those who attended the event were reportedly placed in “home quarantine” for 15 days starting the following day, September 10. According to Daily NK, all those who attended the event were placed in “quarantine at home” for 15 days from September 10, and were not allowed to leave the house at all.
Mr. Gao Yingqi, editor-in-chief of Daily NK Japan, told us.
“At the rehearsal, all participants were required to wear masks. Until just before the event, they were required to take their temperature five times a day. Anyone who fell ill was immediately replaced by another person. In particular, the temperature of the boys who were to hand over the bouquet of flowers to the leader, Kim Jong-un, was repeatedly checked until five minutes before the parade began. Their hands and even their mouths were sterilized.
However, no one wore a mask at the actual event. It is said that some people were concerned that this was too reckless, even if it was to protect the official view that there were no coronary infections in North Korea.
The fears proved correct. According to the Daily NK, 16 students in their 30s and 40s from the Civil Defense University who participated in the parade showed symptoms of corona infection, including high fever, vomiting, and difficulty breathing. The university is an institution that trains leaders of military organizations, and unlike ordinary universities, the majority of its students are in their 30s or older. The 16 suspected infected students were taken to the hospital on September 12.
Multiple cases of high fever over 38 degrees Celsius
Mr. Gao continues.
“The university was aware of the situation. The university was aware of the situation, but decided that they must have caught a cold from rehearsing in the rain. They didn’t report it to the parade director.
They gave him some medicine and let him parade, but his condition worsened. At that time, the university finally reported the incident to the Central Emergency Preparedness Committee. The committee’s staff put on protective suits and took the patients out of Pyongyang. When the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea learned of the situation, it was furious. The five staff members in charge of quarantine who had been dispatched to the site were removed and punished with unpaid labor.
The alleged cluster outbreak was not limited to the military parade. It is said that several participants in a ball organized by the Korean Socialist Women’s Federation (KSWF) in the Pyongyang suburb of Lannang have also developed fevers of 38 degrees Celsius or higher.
Kim Jong-un has lost a lot of weight, and there are still concerns about his health. The Central Committee of the Workers’ Party (WPK) has issued a statement saying, “It is possible that a person with corona infection was close to him.
“The Central Committee of the Workers’ Party has made no mention of Kim Jong-un’s safety. The Central Committee of the Workers’ Party has made no mention of Kim Jong-un’s safety, and Pyongyang citizens seem to be saying to each other, ‘The Marshal (Kim Jong-un) and his cadres have been vaccinated, so they must be all right. There is no doubt that he was in a ‘super-close’ space with the participants in the event of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the country. There is a possibility that he was in close contact with the infected people,” said a reporter from a Korean newspaper.
There are rumors that Kim Jong-un is using “shadow warriors” in order to show that he is in perfect physical condition. If the cluster outbreak is true, the health scare theory may be rekindled.
