He is someone even Putin cannot comment on.
 He has supported Putin&#8217;s personal life and political activities since the &#8217;80s, so he holds all Putin&#8217;s secrets. The Russian economy has been devastated by Western sanctions. The military and the &#8216;FSB&#8217; have no money. Currently, only Putin has the skills to rebuild the economy. He has the connections and the negotiating cards with the West to get the economic sanctions lifted, so Bortnikov and Shoigu have no choice but to follow Sechin&#8217;s lead.
Regardless of who comes to power, what is required is a ceasefire as soon as possible.
