<p><span class="strongInContent"> “President A was tipping his ‘favorite’ TikToker as if he were lavishing money on a host. What’s more, the funds came from company money entrusted to him by the residents…”</span></p>
<p> “Company X,” headquartered in Osaka City, operates approximately 50 nursing homes and facilities for people with disabilities in Osaka and Kyoto Prefectures, among other locations. A former employee of the company spoke to a FRIDAY reporter, his voice trembling with anger.</p>

<p> In April of this year, President A’s “fan activities” were exposed when a large sum of money was withdrawn from an account where X Corp. had accumulated approximately 400 million yen in retained earnings. The former employee continued:</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> “As the internal investigation progressed, an administrative staff member came forward with a whistleblower report stating, ‘Actually, we’ve been receiving charges from TikTok on the company’s corporate card for the past two years.’Upon reviewing past card statements, it was discovered that A had been using the corporate card to make donations. Furthermore, it was revealed that money had been transferred from the company’s account—where the retained earnings were held—to A’s personal account.</span><br>
<span class="strongInContent"> A’s favorite creator was a TikToker going by the name ‘Kyoukisha,’ and A had been making donations using the account ‘Tono no Sappon.’“Starting around March 2024, he continued making donations at an unbelievable average rate of 30 million yen per month, and the total amount reached 600 million yen over approximately two years…”</span></p>
<p> “Keikisha” has gained popularity by posting about his flashy lifestyle—including “spending sprees” on luxury brand items and showcasing high-end imported cars—and has 200,000 followers.Last year, on the show *Breaking Down*, which he joined to boost his profile, he pulled off a major upset by knocking out a higher-ranked opponent.</p>

<p><span class="strongInContent"> “Among ‘Keikisha’ fans, ‘Tono no Sappon’ was a famous ‘gift-thrower.’ Sappon repeatedly sent gifts called ‘White Pegasus,’ which cost tens of thousands of yen each, and gave away clothing and bags from high-end brands like Louis Vuitton and Chrome Hearts,” (ibid.)</span></p>
<p> Looking at “Keikisha’s” livestream videos still available on TikTok, it’s clear that “Tono no Sappon” did indeed send gifts worth about 70,000 yen and give away Chrome Hearts clothing worth several hundred thousand yen (second photo). A representative from Company X is dumbfounded.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> “On TikTok, there are ‘battles’ where streamers compete against each other over the amount of tips they receive.Donors go all out in these battles to help their favorite streamer win. When ‘Keikisha’ received high-value gifts and won a battle, she would express her gratitude during a live stream by saying things like, ‘Thank you, Sappon.’ Seeing that, A must have been basking in a sense of superiority.”</span></p>
