<p> Yoo Hyun-joo (32), a South Korean professional golfer nicknamed the “Next-Generation Sexy Queen,” competed in the “BC Card-Hankyung 48th KLPGA Championship,” held over four days starting August 20.</p>
<p> As the 20th event of this season’s KLPGA Tour and the second major tournament of the season, the total prize pool was 1.5 billion won (approximately 170 million yen), with the winner’s prize set at 270 million won (approximately 30 million yen).The course was extended by more than 200 yards compared to last year, and the fairways were significantly narrowed from the previous 25–27 meters to 12–16 meters. With rough up to 150 mm deep, the course setup demanded extreme precision in every shot.</p>
<p> Yoo Hyun-ju, who entered the tournament as a wild card, got off to a slow start with a “79” on the first day.
