 On March 30, Chiba Chuo Police arrested Mami Kurokawa, 27, a wife, on suspicion of attempted murder for stabbing her husband in the chest with a kitchen knife at an apartment complex in Murata-cho, Chuo-ku, Chiba City. The husband, Naoki Kurokawa, 28, was later pronounced dead at the hospital where he was taken, and the police are now investigating the case as a homicide.
 The case took an unusual turn, as Mami left the scene with her eldest son immediately after the incident, but returned home in a cab only four hours later and was arrested. In contrast to the horrific ending, Mami&#8217;s social networking site contained a record of a &#8220;happy family&#8221; that went from dating to marriage to childbirth.

 The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. on March 29. Makiki&#8217;s own sister,
 &#8220;My sister-in-law stabbed my brother.
 Immediately after Mami&#8217;s sister called 110 to report that her sister-in-law had stabbed her brother, the suspect disappeared from the scene, leaving the murder weapon, a kitchen knife, inside the room. A tense search ensued as police cars and undercover vehicles drove around the area, but the situation came to a head at 1:22 a.m. on January 30, when the date changed.

 She looked recognizable and responded to our questioning, which led to her emergency arrest in the police car. She admitted the charge: &#8216;I stabbed him.
 As for why Mami left the scene after the crime,
 &#8220;I was trying to keep my cool,&#8221; she stated.
