Playback ’15] Miyaji, Okazoe, Sasazaki… Seven female announcers: their graduation photos from 10 years ago and their current lives.

What did “FRIDAY” report 10, 20, and 30 years ago? In “Playback Friday,” we take a look back at the topics that were hot at the time. This time, we will introduce the “glossy” graduation photos of seven would-be female announcers from Waseda, Kei, Sophia, Meiji, and Toyo Eiwa,” which appeared in the April 17, 2003, issue ten years ago.
It is graduation season, and many young people are leaving school and entering the workforce. Among them are women who will become TV announcers in April. …… Ten years ago, in particular, there were many announcers who would go on to become key figures in their respective stations. Here is a look back at the “graduation graffiti” of these women. All ages and titles are current as of the time of the article.)
A beautiful woman stands out on campus at the graduation ceremony.
The graduation ceremony of Waseda University was held on March 25. Surrounded by a large number of students, there was a beautiful woman who stood out from the crowd.
She said, “You all know very well that I am an unofficial female announcer. When I enter the workforce, I want to be in charge of an information program.
Aimi Miyashi, 23, who has been offered a job at Fuji Television, said with a smile, “I want to be in charge of information programs when I enter the workforce. She was the grand prix winner of the “Miss Circle Contest 2010” and has frequently appeared in fashion magazines as a reader model.
She has often appeared in fashion magazines as a reader-model. They often appear on TV as a result, and they have connections with the station from the start. They are accustomed to being in front of the public since their school days, so they are not afraid of being intimidated.
At the same Waseda University, there was also Maki Okazoe (22), who had already been working as a freelance announcer since September ’14, handling the sports and weather sections of “Mezamashi TV Aqua” and other programs.
At the graduation ceremony at Keio University, “I came to this year’s graduation ceremony to give flowers to my friends,” said Yoko Ozawa (23), who, like Miyaji, had been offered a position at Fuji Television. She had already graduated in September ’14. Keio is famous for the “Miss Keio” pageant, which has produced such female announcers as Minako Nakano (Fuji) and Yuko Aoki (TBS) and is called the “gateway to success for female announcers. The grand prix winner in ’13, Risa Uuchi, was offered a position at TBS. Ozawa, by the way, also won the grand prix in 2012.
The day was also marked by the announcement of the announcement of the new announcer at Sophia University by Niimi Yuka (22), a classmate of Miyashi and Ozawa; at Meiji University by Tanaka Moe (22), who had been offered a position at TV Asahi; and at Toyo Eiwa by Sasazaki Rina (22), who had been in the news for a while for her decision to cancel her offer of a position, What thoughts did each of them have about their lives as announcers starting in April?
Marriage, leaving the company…10 years later, “each path”.
Ten years have passed since then. Their current lives vary. Some, like Miyashi, have become the main anchor of “Live News It! while others, like Okazoe, took the opportunity of marriage to move to the countryside and continue to focus on family life. Ozawa, who gave birth to her first child in February 2012, is on maternity leave.
The lives of those who left the station’s announcer positions have also varied. Sasazaki, who left Nippon TV at the end of 2011, married Yuichi Nakamaru of KAT-TUN in January 2012. She is currently working as a freelancer. On the other hand, Uuchi, who left TBS in March of ’25, announced that she would be working as a live game player without belonging to an office.
Last June, Niimi uploaded an image of the “class reunion” held in April on her Instagram. The image showed Miyashi, Ozawa, Niimi and her male classmate Taisuke Uchino, and a baby who appeared to be the child of Ozawa and Uchino, whose face had been doctored, in the center of the circle.
Ten years have passed since they graduated as unofficial announcers. The girls have gone their separate ways.
