<h2><b>An idol-like appearance and announcer skills praised as genius</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On March 29th, former Fuji TV announcer and now freelancer, Aya Takashima (46), appeared as a news anchor on Saturday Station (TV Asahi). After the show, she updated her Instagram, posting an image of herself in a spring-like outfit, featuring a white blouse and light blue skirt. Just four days prior, she had shared another image with the caption &#8220;A spring break photo,&#8221; showing her peeking out from an object of the iconic &#8220;Anywhere Door&#8221; from the popular anime Doraemon (TV Asahi). The images garnered comments on social media such as, &#8220;Mesmerizing,&#8221; and &#8220;Still so cute.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><b>&#8220;Aya Takashima was a symbol of the early 2000s Fuji TV female announcer popularity. In her first year in 2001, she gained idol-like popularity with her show Ayapan. From April 2003 to October 1, 2010, she hosted Mezamashi TV as its main anchor. Among Fuji TV&#8217;s female announcers, her announcing skills were regarded as genius, and with her idol-like appearance, she became the face of the network.</b></p>
<p><b>After leaving the company at the end of 2010, she continued her career as a freelance announcer, becoming the MC of Saturday Station starting in April 2017, steadily building her career as a news anchor,&#8221; </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">explained a TV magazine writer.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In her personal life, she married Yujin Kitagawa (48) of the band Yuzu in 2011, and is now raising two daughters.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At the ringside of the martial arts event &#8220;PRIDE.31&#8221; held in February 2006, there was a friendly snapshot of announcers Kyoko Uchida (48) and Aya Takashima. At the time, during the TV broadcast of &#8220;PRIDE,&#8221; the two announcers, known as &#8220;Ucchi &amp; Ayapan,&#8221; would often be seen together commentating, splitting the popularity of Fuji TV&#8217;s female announcers. Inside the venue, packed with martial arts fans, there were many spectators cheering them on. The two remained in high spirits and kept up a lively atmosphere throughout. During a moment in the match when a fighter&#8217;s arm twisted in an unimaginable direction, they both screamed &#8220;Gyaa!&#8221; in unison, causing a stir. Aya Takashima especially showed a wide range of expressions during the event.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Fuji TV where Aya Takashima thrived is currently shaken by a series of issues stemming from Masahiro Nakai&#8217;s (52) trouble involving women. On January 26, she addressed this issue on &#8220;Saturday Station.&#8221;</span></p>
