Wearing a Chicago Cubs cap and walking behind an airport staff member with a neutral expression, Hollywood star Bill Murray (74) was spotted at the airport.
The two opening games of the &#8220;MLB Tokyo Series by Guggenheim&#8221; held on March 18 and 19 between the Dodgers and Cubs ended with the Dodgers winning both games. The Tokyo Dome in Bunkyo Ward, the venue for the games, attracted not only domestic fans but also many international celebrities. Among them, Bill Murray stood out the most.
&#8220;Bill became a global star playing Dr. Peter Venkman in the 1984 hit movie &#8216;Ghostbusters.&#8217; The film was turned into a series, and the fourth installment, &#8216;Ghostbusters: Afterlife,&#8217; released in 2021, also became a global hit. At the Tokyo Dome before the first game, he was spotted chatting with Cubs staff and Ken Griffey Jr. (55) while wearing a Cubs-branded cap and sweater, a moment that was shared on Instagram by Cubs reporter Taylor McGregor.
However, the Cubs lost both games to the Dodgers. Bill was spotted at Haneda Airport the following day, leaving Japan without sightseeing, likely returning home quickly. He appeared somewhat down, which might have been due to the Cubs&#8217; loss.
