Bill Murray Arrives in Japan for MLB Quickly Returns After Cubs’ Losing Streak

Wearing a Chicago Cubs cap and walking behind an airport staff member with a neutral expression, Hollywood star Bill Murray (74) was spotted at the airport.

The two opening games of the “MLB Tokyo Series by Guggenheim” held on March 18 and 19 between the Dodgers and Cubs ended with the Dodgers winning both games. The Tokyo Dome in Bunkyo Ward, the venue for the games, attracted not only domestic fans but also many international celebrities. Among them, Bill Murray stood out the most.

However, the Cubs lost both games to the Dodgers. Bill was spotted at Haneda Airport the following day, leaving Japan without sightseeing, likely returning home quickly. He appeared somewhat down, which might have been due to the Cubs’ loss.
