Why the scum comedian is “fine” with the online casino issue.
The “shades” of 15 minutes and 3 hours of …… hearing
The entertainment and TV industries are busy responding to the voluntary hearings by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department of some 10 comedians affiliated with Yoshimoto Kogyo for gambling at online casinos.
Already, Dai Yoshimoto (40), the older brother of the twin comedy duo “Daitaku,” and Nakamura★Shun (31) of “9th Avenue Retro” are refraining from activities. Takabiruma Ruma (30) of “Reiwa Roman,” who won the M-1 championship again after it was revealed that he had been arbitrarily interviewed, admitted his involvement, uploaded an apology video on his YouTube channel, and has been refraining from activities since February 19.
Kazunobu Kubota (45) of Toro Salmon, the 2017 M-1 champion, was also arbitrarily interviewed by the Metropolitan Police Department, but denied involvement.
The police terminated the interview after about 15 minutes after checking Kubota’s phone and other information. Kubota himself said on the radio that the police “won’t interview him anymore,” so I think he has been cleared of all charges. On the other hand, there were comedians who were questioned for three hours. The information the police have is mixed,” said a senior entertainment executive.
In the apology video, Kuruma confesses that he was lured into online casinos by an acquaintance from his college days. He explains that he was told that it was safe as long as he transferred money from an overseas account, and that he “recognized that it was not illegal” because there were many advertisements for online casinos on the Internet.
In the past, “drinking, hitting, and buying” was an everyday occurrence for comedians. It was considered a part of their culture. Even today, there are many “bum comedians” who have become addicted to gambling and have lost their heads. Surprisingly, however, their names are not mentioned in the online casino issue, and various voices are raised on the Internet.
There are many gambling comedians such as Suzuki Mole and Yamazoe, but they probably only play analog gambling (horse racing, pachislot, etc.)… I think only young people would play online.
Mr. Mogura Suzuki, who doesn’t touch online casinos, is a quintessential “online casino guy.
I’m guessing that Suzuki Mogura is not the type to be interested in online casinos.

Physically and financially “out of reach
Suzuki Mogura (37) of KUKI KAIDAN is well known for his love of gambling. He was in debt up to 9 million yen. He earned money for his college tuition by playing pachinko and pachislot but was expelled from school because he could no longer pay his bills due to “payout restrictions” on the machines.
In addition, he is a heavy smoker and a tardy player, and his popularity is synonymous with “scum,” but the broadcaster points out that he has no connection to online casinos.
He is popular as a “bum,” synonymous with “scum,” a pachinko player, a late comer, and a “bum,” but he has “never been a part of online casinos,” according to a broadcaster. I hear that his cash card has been taken away from him by his manager because he is too loose with money.
Because of their debts, their credit reports are poor and it is difficult for them to get credit cards. Even if he wanted to play online casino, he is physically and financially “inaccessible” because he is not allowed to open an overseas account or use electronic or virtual money, not to mention a credit card.
It would be ironic if he was too much of a bum to try online casinos, but it may be a blessing in disguise that he was not involved in the turmoil.
