The number one cleanest tourist spot is Oishi Forest (ASMUI Spiritual Hikes), which was the first place in Mr. Yoshikawa’s trash-picking history to achieve zero trash.
At the second-place spot, Hokkaido’s Daisetsu Mountain and Asahidake, only one piece of trash was found.
Mr. Yoshikawa diligently picks up the trash he finally found in third-place spot, Kamigōchi.
The number one spot for the most trash at a tourist destination is Shinjuku Kabukicho. The grating of the drainage ditch is filled with countless pieces of trash.
In Kabukicho, there are scattered “vomit-like” piles of all types of trash in various places.
Mr. Yoshikawa created and published the “Gomyran 5-Star Ranking Japan Edition.”
