Rui Tsukishima Ex-Soccer Girl Dreams of Co-Starring with Ryohei Suzuki
Haruna Kawaguchi and Mei Nagano are following in the footsteps of Ryohei Suzuki. Rising star to be a cheerleading manager for "National High School Soccer Tournament

“I want to be able to perform with the acting that comes from within.”
Actress Rui Tsukishima (16) has been selected as the 20th support manager for the “National High School Soccer Championship.” This position has been a stepping stone for many young actresses such as Yui Aragaki (36), Haruna Kawaguchi (29), and Mei Nagano (25).
In April 2024, Tsukishima starred in the live-action drama adaptation of the popular manga Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san (TBS) alongside Soya Kurokawa (15). Her performance as a middle school girl who teases the boy she likes instantly raised her profile as an actress.
The filming of Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san took place in the nature-rich Shodoshima. Tsukishima reflects on the experience:
“The character I played, Takagi-san, is quite different from my usual self, so it took time to get the rhythm of her way of speaking and grasp the right feel. However, Takagi-san and I share the trait of laughing a lot, so I focused on that as the core, and I was able to act freely and fully immerse myself in the character.”
For 2025, Tsukishima’s goal is to improve her acting skills:
“In 2024, I rediscovered my love for acting. In 2025, I want to further improve my acting ability. I want to cherish my irreplaceable daily life with my family and friends, and aim to act from the inside out.”
In the January 10th release of FRIDAY January 24-31 Issue and the paid version FRIDAY GOLD, Tsukishima discusses her audition experience for Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san, which actor she’d like to collaborate with, and her life as a high school student, offering a glimpse into the real face of this young actress.
