<h2> A year of pursuing what I want to do</h2>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> I had a lot of words that had accumulated during my absence, so I was able to write the manuscript more easily than I had expected. Writing also helped me clarify what kind of life I want to lead and what I am struggling with.&#8221;</span></p>
<p> Nagisa Watanabe, a former announcer who left Fuji Television at the end of August 2012, is publishing her first book, a photo essay. Watanabe announced on her SNS that she had suffered from PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) in the past. The book will include a record of her battle with the disease and her real life now that she is free, along with a variety of photographs.</p>

<p><span class="strongInContent"> I was surprised by the response when I announced the release of the book. I used to love writing, and many people said, &#8216;I&#8217;d like to see more of your writing,&#8217; so I&#8217;m happy to be able to meet their expectations.&#8221; I would like to try my hand at volleyball, which I have been pursuing for 25 years, and at a new genre of work. I want this to be a year of pursuing what I want to do.&#8221;</span></p>

Born in Niigata Prefecture. She joined Fuji Television as an announcer in 2008, and was in charge of &#8220;Moshi Moshi Tours&#8221; and &#8220;Mezamashi TV&#8221;. After taking a leave of absence due to health problems, she left the station at the end of August 2012. Currently, she works as a freelancer, writing essays for websites, modeling, MCing for volleyball-related events, and giving lectures on mental health.
