The male vocal group SHOW-WA and MATSURI, produced by Yasushi Akimoto, will perform in the live broadcast program &#8220;SHOW-WA &amp; MATSURI Aka-Ao Uta Gassen&#8221; on December 31, 2024.
 The members of SHOW-WA and MATSURI were selected from over 3,000 people who participated in the &#8220;Don&#8217;t Give Up on Your Dreams&#8221; audition, which was held under the concept of &#8220;Reviving Showa Songs in the Reiwa Era and Revitalizing Japan! Audition,&#8221; which was held under the concept of &#8220;reviving the Showa era and energizing Japan in the 2025 era. All of them are in their 30s or older, and have diverse backgrounds, including a former J-League player, a cookery researcher, and a janitorial worker. They have steadily increased their fan base through their continuous live singing appearances on Fuji Television&#8217;s &#8220;Poka Poka.

 SHOW-WA &amp; MATSURI Aka-Ao Uta Gassen&#8221; will be available live on PPV (pay-per-view) on December 31, 2024, from 11:50 a.m. on FOD, a video distribution service. The reason we are streaming live at this time is because we haven&#8217;t given up on the Kohaku Uta Gassen yet at &#8230;&#8230;!&#8221; (according to a MATSURI member).
