<p><span class="strongInContent"> She said, &#8220;I tried to resist as much as I could at the time, such as making an uncomfortable face and pushing the defendant as far away from me as possible with my hands. But I couldn&#8217;t communicate in words. Every time I couldn&#8217;t say no, I thought it would be like, &#8216;It&#8217;s too late for that,&#8217; and I thought it would be futile to say anything anyway.&#8221;</span></p>
<p> In response to the prosecutor&#8217;s question, &#8220;In the course of the sexual act, did the defendant explain this act to you?&#8221;, Ms. A&#8217;s answer was a statement that could not have come from a defendant who is supposed to be an educator.</p>
