<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The idol group Dempagumi.inc will be concluding its activities in January next year. Furukawa Mirin, who has led the group since its formation in 2009, is taking on her first-ever sexy gravure shoot. She announced her marriage to manga artist Shuichi Asou in 2019 and gave birth to her first child in 2021. The “Mirin-chan” who has broken the norms of the idol world is now unexpectedly achieving a milestone.</span></p>

<p><b>My hips can still do it!</b></p>
<p><b>&#8220;I&#8217;ve always had a complex about my butt. I used to think, &#8216;If it were a little more perky&#8217; and I had all sorts of thoughts. I was still anxious today thinking, &#8216;My butt is not that great.'&#8221;</b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">What dispelled her anxiety was a thong!</span></p>
<p><b>&#8220;There was a bold outfit, like a red thong, during the shoot. At first, I was like, &#8216;Whoa!&#8217; and surprised, but when we actually shot it, they took such beautiful pictures. I thought, &#8216;My butt can still do it! I can still show it off!&#8217; (laughs)&#8221;</b></p>

<h3><b>I&#8217;m glad I was able to take on the gravure challenge.</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Through the experience of gravure shooting, her anxiety turned into confidence.</span></p>
<p><b>&#8220;The most discouraged I&#8217;ve been recently was when my body shape didn’t return after giving birth. I gained 20 kilograms, and it didn’t come off at all. When I wore the Denpa outfits and could see my body line, the difference from my previous self was too big. There was a time when I didn’t want to wear costumes anymore, I didn&#8217;t want to be in front of people.</b></p>
<p><b>So, to be able to take pictures of my body now and feel confident is almost like a miracle. I&#8217;m really glad I took on the gravure.&#8221;</b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This shoot captured a different side of idol Furukawa Mirin.</span></p>
<p><b>&#8220;I absolutely want the people who support me to see it. I can imagine how wow! X (formerly Twitter) will explode (laughs). I think they&#8217;ll be really happy. Honestly, I’m not sure how people who don’t know me will see it but I hope many people will see it!&#8221;</b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Having done various achievements both as an idol and a mother, &#8220;Mirin-chan&#8221; challenged herself with her first full-on sexy gravure. She wants her supporters to witness this challenge.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Furukawa Mirin / A central figure of Dempagumi.inc, who dreamed of becoming an idol since childhood and made it happen.
