<h2> A change&#8221; in her official duties</h2>
<p> On November 1, when it was unfortunately cloudy in the Tokyo metropolitan area, Kako, 29, the second daughter of the Akishino family, was seen in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, wearing a fresh blue one-piece dress that seemed to blow away the rain clouds.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> She was attending the &#8220;National Urban Greenery Festival. There was a scene where Kako planted cherry seedlings with local junior high school students,&#8221; said a reporter from the Imperial Household Agency for a major media outlet.</span></p>

<p> Three days earlier, Kako had visited Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, to meet with Wajima lacquerware craftsmen whose workshops had been damaged by the earthquake and torrential rains. According to a journalist from the Imperial Household, there has been &#8220;a certain change&#8221; in her recent official duties.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> She has always shown a strong interest in welfare, but I sense that she is taking a more proactive stance in reaching out to those who are suffering, such as by visiting areas close to the disaster-stricken areas. I have heard that Kako herself requested to visit Ishikawa Prefecture this time.&#8221;</span></p>

<p><span class="strongInContent"> She wore a Wajima-nuri accessory during her visit. I think she wanted to encourage the creators and raise awareness of the disaster-stricken area. Her Imperial Highness Princess Kako is very good at producing such things, taking into account her own high profile.</span></p>
<p> As an &#8220;active member of the Imperial Family,&#8221; Her Imperial Highness Princess Kako is seeking a &#8220;new style of official work. Wajima-nuri accessories are said to have temporarily run out of stock.</p>
