Yumi Kawai, Haruka Ayase, Kimi Takiuchi, and Others Attracted by “Gorgeous Dresses” at “Tokyo International Film Festival 2024
On October 28, “Tokyo International Film Festival 2024” opened in Hibiya (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) with an opening event. A total of 211 actors and directors from Japan and abroad walked the 162-meter-long red carpet amidst cheers and applause.
By November 6, 208 films will be screened at movie theaters mainly in Hibiya and Yurakucho. Among them, “I Still Can’t Say I Love Today’s Sky the Best,” a live-action adaptation of a romantic novel by Shusuke Fukunori (41) of the comedy duo “Jaljal,” has attracted much attention from moviegoers.
Toshihisa Hagiwara (25), who showed his ability as a child actor in “Yurezumore loneliness death yo” (NTV), will play the lead role, and Yumi Kawai (center), the heroine, will play the heroine in “Inappropriate is not good enough! (TBS), and Aoi Ito (19), who drew attention for her role in “Shinjuku Field Hospital” (Fuji TV), will also appear in an important role.
