First Child Celebration! A Glimpse of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Shono Hayama’s “Spring Maternity Date”

“Welcome to the new world! I’ve been looking forward to meeting you!”

Wrote singer and fashion model Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (31) on Instagram, expressing her joy after the birth of her first child. Kyary married actor Shono Hayama (28) in March 2023, and she announced her pregnancy in April of this year. Her post about the birth has received an outpouring of congratulations from fans.

FRIDAY had previously caught glimpses of the happy couple after the pregnancy announcement. In May this year, Kyary and Hayama were spotted at a shopping complex in Daikanyama, Tokyo. Hayama was trying on sunglasses, and Kyary playfully teased him, saying, “They look good on you,” displaying a loving dynamic between the two. A fellow shopper recalled:

“People noticed her and whispered, ‘It’s Kyary-chan,’ but the two seemed completely absorbed in their own world, exchanging glances and laughing together. When Kyary went down the stairs, she was careful due to her slightly larger belly, and Hayama took the lead, escorting her.”

During her pregnancy, Hayama often cooked, with Kyary sharing those moments on Instagram.

This isn’t the first time FRIDAY has spotted Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Shono Hayama looking happy together. For instance, in August 2020, before they were married, the couple was seen on a “nighttime stroll date” with Kyary’s beloved dog.

On that evening, Kyary wore a vibrant blue dress, while Hayama walked beside her, firmly holding the leash of her dog in his left hand. After enjoying their walk for about 30 minutes, they returned to their “love nest” together. Later, in November of the same year, they were also spotted doing grocery shopping at a humble supermarket. Hayama pointed to an instant hot pot set, explaining, “This is delicious,” while supporting Kyary during their shopping.

Thanks to Hayama’s support, Kyary has now welcomed a new member into their family. The fashion monster born in Harajuku is sure to become a most & best mother in this next chapter of her life.
