The men then attacked two male customers in the same restaurant. They then surrounded the male customers and beat and kicked them. They then took one of the male customers outside the restaurant and hit him in the head with a glass bottle.

<h2>The suspect was accused of making eye contact with the customers.</h2>
 
On September 19, the Kameari Police Station in Tokyo&#8217;s Katsushika Ward arrested Daisuke Goto (27), a jobless man living in the area, along with four other men on suspicion of assault and violations of the Act on Punishment of Violence and Other Related Acts. Goto is a member of the sixth-generation Yamaguchi-gumi, a designated violent crime group. He reportedly stated during questioning, &#8220;I will talk after my lawyer arrives.&#8221;
&#8220;The incident leading to the arrests occurred on the night of May 21 this year. While dining at a restaurant in Kameari, Katsushika Ward, Goto and his companions approached two male customers in their twenties, accusing them of making eye contact, which led to a confrontation. They surrounded the two and subjected them to severe violence, dragging one of them outside and striking him on the head with a bottle.
The assaulted man temporarily lost consciousness and was in critical condition. Fortunately, he has since regained consciousness, but he is said to have sustained serious injuries that will take six months to heal. Although the five suspects fled the scene, they were arrested based on security camera footage and other evidence,&#8221; reported a journalist from a national newspaper&#8217;s social affairs section.
A photographer from our publication captured the shocking appearance of Goto immediately after his arrest as he emerged from the police station. His heavily tattooed arms were visible, creating an intimidating atmosphere around him. One can only imagine the intense fear experienced by the victim who suffered significant injuries from the group assault.
The police are thoroughly investigating the circumstances at the scene of the incident and the motive behind why Goto and his companions targeted the two men.
