<p> Dogs showed off their overwhelming performance as they maneuvered their surfboards, surrendered themselves to the ocean, and faced the big waves!</p>
<p> On August 3 (local time), the seventh annual &#8220;World Dog Surfing Championships&#8221; was held in California, USA. Over 6,000 spectators gathered on the beach and about 20 surfing dogs competed in the event.</p>

<p><span class="strongInContent"><span class="strong-in-content"> The event consisted of eight divisions, including &#8220;SUP (Stand Up Paddle),&#8221; &#8220;Dog &amp; Dog Carpooling,&#8221; &#8220;Dog &amp; Human Carpooling,&#8221; and &#8220;Overall,&#8221; in addition to four categories by size. In between the competitions, there was a fashion contest for the cutest dogs,&#8221; said a local resident.</span></span></p>
<p> While the world was abuzz with excitement over the Paris Olympics, the gold medalist in this competition was Cacau, a brown Labrador retriever, who won in four categories.</p>
