<p> Yu-chami&#8217;s 2nd photo book, &#8220;Yu-chami Summer,&#8221; has been highly anticipated as it nears its release date of September 4 (Wed.).</p>
<p> In this series, we are bringing you scenes from the photo shoot on Miyakojima Island. This time, we caught up with Yu-chami as she tried her hand at marine sports in the crystal clear waters.</p>
<h2> I&#8217;m good at SUP!</h2>
<p> At a meeting before leaving for the location shoot, Yuchami said, &#8221; <span class="strongInContent">I want to try SUP in the sea of Miyakojima!</span> I want to do SUP in the sea of Miyakojima!</p>

<p> SUP stands for &#8220;Stand Up Paddleboard,&#8221; a marine sport in which one stands on a surfboard-like board floating on the surface of the sea and paddles with a paddle in one&#8217;s hand to move forward smoothly on the surface of the sea.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent">I&#8217;ve done SUP a few times before for a TV show, so I&#8217;m pretty good at it!</span> 　 <span class="strongInContent">When I was chased by a hunter on a Jet Ski, I paddled so hard that I got away.</span></p>

<p> Just as she said, Yuchami got on the board on the surface of the sea, paddled with a calm and composed expression on her face, and started to paddle away from the sea.</p>

<p> The transparent board called &#8220;clear SUP&#8221; allowed us to see the bottom of the ocean through the board. As we moved above the school of swimming fish, Yu-chami would occasionally crouch down on the board and peer curiously at the seafloor.</p>

<p> Yu-chami&#8217;s skill was real, and she was going so fast that the boat carrying the cameraman who was chasing her could not keep up with her. After enjoying a short walk on the water, she returned to the beach with a satisfied smile on her face.</p>
